Using the information I learned while completing a degree in Psychology, and combining it with the storybook of tarot, my goal is to help people heal and work through issues on a more therapeutic level. My reading style is more like a good conversation with a friend rather than predicting the future in a mysterious way. I may ask pointed questions to help find a pathway forward to bring concerns to the surface. Using tarot not only as a divination tool but also one to help address deep emotion issues and work through them. Carl Jung is an influence of mine and he was also one to combine both psychology and visual imagery.
Tarot is a tool. It is not evil, nor does it hold demons or monsters. It is a series of images made up of archetypes and symbols that can be used to give guidance. They do not take away your free will. Your life is still let up to how you live it. I use tarot as guidance, in ritual and spell work, goal setting and as a outlook for a specific time frame. Using the tarot has always been an encouraging experience for me. I hope that you will allow me to show you that with the help of tarot, looking within ourselves can be a fun and constructive way to focus on the positive and work through blockages. One thing I really love about studying the tarot is it really is a lifelong learning experience. There are so many ways you can incorporate tarot into your everyday life and so many lessons it can teach us to grow and become more whole (just like the fool's journey). When we can start to see patterns forming as a result of our actions and behaviours, we can then use these to help ourselves out of situations before they happen thus actually using our free will to move in a forward direction towards happiness and unity of the self.
